To ensure that CPI provide the highest quality products, they have invested heavily in the very latest inspection and test equipment. This equipment is used as a measure of process which provides customers with the confidence that their products are assembled to the highest of standards. CPI understands the importance of getting things right first time and prefer to install quality via continual process improvements throughout all operations.
 All operators are trained to IPC-A-610D workmanship standards so that build consistency is maintained. A bespoke functional test is incorporated wherever possible. We can also offer the latest in XJTAG boundary scan testing.
Post production processes include the latest Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) which checks for the following:
All the above checks are done to an 18micron resolution and employ the latest in alternate colour digital scanning.
Results from the AOI inspection are sent to computerised rework stations. We can carry out a full range of functional tests to customer’s specifications, incorporating device programming, boundary scan using XJTAG. We have a number of highly skilled qualified technicians to carry out all aspects of test using comprehensive range of test equipment and bespoke test fixtures manufactured in-house to customer specifications. Our technicians have full engineering support and the resources of our electronic engineering department. Further visual optical inspection using our Lynx Vision Dynascope system can/will be undertaken when required.
